dtg Engineering is a UK company with a 60 year history of excellence in the design, manufacture and supply of confectionery equipment. The company was formed in 1962 in a small workshop in Birkenhead, UK. Formerly owned and operated by Frank Finn who designed the original “Finn” Coater and Polisher. Members of the dtg team are highly skilled and very proud of the equipment.

The company moved to a modern building with trial facility in 2015 and has continued to uphold traditional engineering excellence and listened to the requirements of Confectioners to innovate and deliver the most efficient equipment. Machines are simple to use and tailored to client production, they can be operated manually or fully automated. Secure remote access is built into new machines with download capability for production analysis. Turnkey solutions are available.
