Adrian Mois - Finalist for Apprentice of the Year

dtg are delighted to announce that our engineer Adrian Mois has been named a finalist in the prestigious Insider’s - Made in the North West Awards 2026, in the Apprentice of the Year category.

Adrian is a Level 3 Apprentice in Welding and Fabrication and has quickly become an important and valued member of the team here at dtg, playing a key role in the construction of Finn Coaters and Polishers.

Since joining the company, Adrian has demonstrated a commitment to developing his skills and gaining experience across all aspects of the business. His apprenticeship has provided him with valuable hands-on experience, while his enthusiasm and willingness to take on new challenges have seen him become involved in some exciting opportunities both in the UK and overseas.

Earlier this year, Adrian represented Finn at Interpack 2026, where he supported the team on the Finn stand. He has also travelled internationally to assist with equipment installations and commissioning, including a trip as far afield as the Philippines.

Adrian's development has extended beyond his core engineering and fabrication skills. He has also successfully completed CFS Training and Food Allergy and Intolerance Training with the Food Standards Agency, further broadening his knowledge and understanding of the industry in which he works.

His nomination for Apprentice of the Year is a fantastic recognition of the progress Adrian has made during his apprenticeship and the contribution he is already making to the company.

Everyone at dtg is extremely proud of Adrian and delighted to see him recognised alongside some of the region's talented apprentices.

We wish Adrian the very best of luck at the Made in the North West Awards ceremony on 1 October 2026. We're incredibly proud to have him representing dtg.
